Initial examination
Your journey begins with a thorough examination where we will assess your dental health and determine if dental implants are suitable for replacing your missing teeth. You will receive detailed information about the procedure and alternative treatment options.
Surgical Phase
During the procedure, local anesthesia will be administered to ensure your comfort. If necessary, any required tooth extractions will be performed, followed by bone grafting to support the implants, which may involve using materials from your own body or other sources. Your gums will then be opened to place the implants into your jawbone. Depending on your specific case, provisional restorations, such as healing abutments or cover screws, may be placed to facilitate healing. The healing period usually lasts between three to six months, during which regular follow-ups are essential to monitor your progress.
Post-Surgical Temporary Prosthesis
After surgery, you will receive a temporary prosthesis to wear while your implants heal. This temporary solution may not have all the teeth of your final prosthesis and requires special care, including a soft food diet to avoid placing stress on your healing implants.
prosthetic Phase
Once the healing process is complete, we will begin the prosthetic phase, where a definitive implant prosthesis (such as a fixed bridge) will be attached. Timely attendance at your scheduled appointments is crucial for ensuring the prosthesis fits correctly.
